Installed in an PVC white DWV piping system to transition from 6" PVC white hub to a 6" Female National Pipe Thread (FPT). Supplied with a threaded cleanout plug. Can provide a watertight access to the DWV piping system, for cleaning or visual inspection. Wide ange of uses: Made of hard PVC and corrosion resistance. Perfect for indoor and outdoor use, drainage and sewer piping systems; patio, lawn, garden, and septic tank piping systems etc. Installed in the PVC drain and sewer pipe system. This cleanout plug is designed to fit standard ASTM D2665 DWV fittings (such as DWV tees, DWV couplings, or DWV elbows) and cannot be installed directly into a DWV pipe. Before purchasing, verify that your system uses ASTM D2665—it is not compatible with Schedule 40 (SCH40), Schedule 80 (SCH80), or other standards like D2661/D1784/D3311, as thread sizes differ. Incorrect pairing may result in leaks or improper sealingo or cannot be installed. Provides pipe access to clear clogs: As part of a complete drainage system, the PVC cleanout adapter with plug connects sewer and drain pipe with pipe fittings (Socket) connection on one end for access to the drain pipe system, or threaded pipe to convey water for proper release downstream. Provide multiple access points: Install cleanouts at multiple points along the main drain pipe line to provide multiple access points for cleaning pipes.
